1. Who can apply?
You can apply if you are currently enrolled at a German university in one of the following degree programmes:
Industrial Engineering Business informatics Business mathematics
If you are not enrolled in the Master’s programme at the start of your internship, you must reach at least 120 credit points in your Bachelor’s programme.
2. How do I apply?
To apply, first fill out the online application form. To do this, you will need a CV in American style in PDF format (you can find information on how to create it at www.jobline.lmu.de), an application or passport photo as a JPG file, and a short letter of motivation with a maximum length of 1000 characters.
Before you send the application form, you will be given the opportunity to choose a suitable interview date.
The closing date for applications is always the last Wednesday of each month.
3. What happens next?
After we have received and checked your complete application, we will invite you to an interview. Of course, we will try to consider your preferred date. The interview will be conducted either at the TU Darmstadt or via Skype.
4. How does the interview work?
The aim of the interview is to get to know you better as a person and to determine your suitability for our internships. During the interview, the information given in the application form and curriculum vitae will be looked at in detail. In addition, a part of the interview will be held in English.
5. What happens after the interview?
Usually you will receive feedback shortly after the interview as to whether we have decided to include you in the talent pool. In this case, you will be included in our talent pool for a period of 12 months. You can view the corresponding contract here in advance.
6. What happens after successful admission to the talent pool?
As soon as you have been included in the talent pool, you will receive all incoming internship offers with the respective job description by e-mail.
7. How do I apply for a specific internship?
If you are interested in an advertised internship position, first contact the IPC supervisor named in the e-mail and send the documents specified in the job offer. From all incoming applications, we pre-select suitable talents and forward them to the company. The final selection of the talent to receive the position is made by the company. Normally, you will receive timely feedback on your application status.
